A dog bed is more than just another piece of furniture.
STELLIA GROUP is a Slovak family company that makes wooden beds and mattresses for dogs. Our products are made from Slovak materials and in cooperation with Slovak manufacturers, because we care about supporting local production and people who do their work honestly.
But our company did not start merely as a business idea. We own several dogs ourselves and we know that a dog bed is more than just another piece of furniture. It is the place where our dog rests, sleeps and feels safe.
That is exactly why we decided to create beds that combine comfort for the dog, practicality for the owner and a design that suits a modern home.
Why our beds?
Because we know who we make them for! We are not a brand that makes dog beds simply because they happen to be a popular product. As dog owners ourselves, we know how much time dogs spend resting and how important it is for them to have a comfortable place of their own. That is why the following aspects were key for us in production:

Unique design
Our beds are designed with an eye for detail to combine function, comfort and a timeless look that fits naturally into any interior.

Made in Slovakia
Everything is produced in a Slovak workshop from Slovak ash wood. As a Slovak family company, we want to support local production and the work of people in our country.

Why ash?
We chose ash for its high durability, long life and beautiful grain, which makes every piece unique.

Honest solid wood
The entire wooden bed is made of 22 mm solid wood, which gives it strength and stability.

A well-thought-out base board
The base board under the mattress is made of glued plywood that withstands heavy loads and moisture. Openings in the board keep it breathable and let air circulate beneath the mattress.

Why is the bed raised?
The bed stands on legs so that it does not lie directly on the floor. Raising it allows better air circulation, limits moisture building up under the bed and, with underfloor heating, helps prevent the space where your dog rests from overheating.

Easy assembly
The parts are joined with special quick-fit connectors, so assembly is simple and all you need is an ordinary Allen key.

Why don't we varnish the beds by default?
We want to leave you free to adapt the bed to your own interior. Staining or varnishing takes very little time. If you would like the bed with a protective coat from us, we will provide it in a clear finish.

Safety in mind
The legs have chamfered edges to minimise the risk of injury if you accidentally bump into them.
